I always thought the way we lived our lives as Christians should be as relevant on Monday as it was on Sunday—I used to think of myself as a ‘Kingdom guy’ rather than a ‘church guy’—so I began developing this idea around faith and work, and I called it theology.working. Practicing our theology amidst our nine-to-five. So far, so good… ‘work’ was the context… but I’ve come to realise I was kind-of limiting the potential of the conversation. I realised that theology.working was more than that: It wasn’t just about place, working was a verb!
Theology, the way we think about God… it shapes our faith… and the application of our faith should shape every area of our lives. It should just… work!
So theology.working is just that—it’s our faith working itself out in all of life.
My name is Kent Langdon and I want to get your theology working.
For now, I’m writing, and developing a series of short-form videos which should find their way onto social platforms in 2026. I love to write and try to communicate the things I’m learning, observations, the things I’ve tripped over, and reflect on the God-stuff that I’ve encountered along the way. I have a passion for discipleship, for teaching. Mostly, I just want to encourage and help people grow. Hopefully theology.working will help that happen.
This has been a work in progress for a while. Not too much longer to wait.
If this piques your interest, please get in touch or sign up to my mailing list – and I’ll let you know when things really get working.
